Group & Family Halloween Costumes (2026)

A group costume works when each person is recognisable on their own and better next to the others. That rules out most “theme” ideas. These six themes pass the test.

Toy Story (any size family)

The easiest family theme this year. Toy Story 5 is fresh, and there is a part for everyone: Woody, Jessie, Buzz, Bo Peep, Rex, the aliens. The smallest kid as an alien is the move.

1. One person orders everything, so sizes and delivery dates are checked in one place.
2. Order a week earlier than for a single costume. One missing piece breaks the group.
3. Buy the recognisable item for each role (the hat, the wig, the prop) and let people build the rest.
